FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. I competed the whole registration and it still says “pending”, why am I not cleared?
    • The school nurse and athletic trainer have yet to review the paperwork. The school nurses and athletic trainer try to review everything in a timely fashion. However, we still have patients in our offices daily. They of course take priority. We will complete the paperwork as quickly as we can. This is why the paperwork due date is early.

OR

    • You have a missing or incorrect section of your paperwork. If this is the case the nurse or athletic trainer will have sent you an email stating what is needed to complete the registration. Please make sure the following email address is not blocked or sent to junk mail by your provider: notifications@mail-service4.rschooltoday.net

  1. My status says Doctor’s Review, what does that mean?
    • The school doctor reviews all physicals. It will say doctor’s review until she has seen it. This does not affect clearance. A doctor’s review status is a clearance.

  2. The nurse sent an email stating I need a new physical; where do I get one and how do I add it to the registration?
    • Get the NJ state physical paperwork from either the link on the homepage, the nurses office, main office or athletic training office. Be sure to have your physical completed on this form ONLY. Take the NJ state physical form to your family doctor or urgent care for your scheduled physical. Hint -Make sure to schedule your appointments early. It can sometimes take a few weeks to get scheduled for a physical.

  • Schedule a physical with your doctor on the earliest day available that your insurance will cover. Complete the rest of the registration. When the nurse emails you that you need a new physical, email her the scheduled date of the new physical. Once the physical is complete add it to the existing registration using the directions on the link on the homepage.
  • If your physical is expired and you cannot get a new physical from your family doctor before the official start of the season (not the paperwork due date), you will NOT be cleared to start the season. NJ state law requires a current physical to participate.
